This will be a small group tour (of only 10 travelers) and a relatively short getaway to nearby Canada.
Why Old Quebec?
Old Quebec (Vieux-Québec) is North America’s oldest fortified city, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its preserved 17th-century ramparts, European-style architecture, cobblestone streets, and landmarks like the Château Frontenac and Petit Champlain district, offering a unique glimpse into French colonial history. Divided into Upper and Lower Towns, it features charming boutiques, historic squares, exquisite restaurants and cliffside boardwalks overlooking the St. Lawrence River, with a distinct French-Canadian cultural atmosphere. Old Quebec has the feel of Europe and much of the charm of a city like Paris. Quebec is also a bilingual city (French & English) adding to the charm.
The focus of the tour is rest and relaxation, while also visiting the majestic churches, basilicas and cathedrals of Old Quebec. Each day, we will also find a sacred spot for our quiet time and meditation.
We have an excursion each morning and then free time in the afternoon. June is a lovely time in Quebec with highs in the upper 60’s to low 70’s F (18 to 22 C). Evenings and morning cool down to the high 40’s to upper 50’s.
We will plan our lunches and dinners together making sure the restaurants accommodate all food requirements of the group. If any of you want to research Old Quebec and recommend restaurants, I look forward to it.

(A) Yes. Do let your bank and credit card companies know you will be traveling to Canada.

(A) Yes, a valid passport, valid for 6 months past entry date. So your passport should be valid through December 2, 2026. And no VISA is required for USA passport holders.
(Q) What is the temperature and weather like and what should I pack?
(A) Early June in Quebec offers mild to warm days, perfect for exploring, with average highs around 69°F (20°C) in Quebec City, though it can feel cooler and breezy, requiring layers as evenings get chilly. Expect pleasant, longer days, transitioning from spring to summer, with increasing warmth and humidity as the month progresses, but always pack layers for potential cool evenings.
Typical Weather in Early June:
Temperatures: Expect pleasant daytime highs, generally in the low to mid-60s Fahrenheit (around 18-20°C), with cooler nights dipping into the 40s or low 50s Fahrenheit (10-12°C).
Conditions: Generally mild, but be prepared for breezes and potential spring showers as the season shifts.
What to Pack: Light clothing (t-shirts, shorts) for the day, but definitely include jeans, a sweater, or a light jacket for the cooler evenings.
What to Expect:
Longer Days: Sunrise is early and sunsets are late, offering ample daylight for sightseeing.
Fewer Crowds: Early June is often just before the peak tourist season, making it a great time to visit.
Greenery: The landscape will be lush and green as everything comes alive after winter.
In summary, early June is a lovely time to visit Quebec, offering comfortable temperatures and a great introduction to summer in the province, but remember that “summer” layers are essential for the cooler nights
