In this certification training, you will learn the art and science of hypnosis and how to apply hypnosis to regression. You will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical insight into the process of hypnosis, past-life regression, future life progressions, in-between lives therapy. You can add a new dimension to your current practice and use hypnotherapy as a tool for personal insight and transformation.

In this training you will:

• Learn Peter’s technique of “Soul Contact” and learn to use it as a method of spiritual healing.
• Learn regression techniques that you will experience both firsthand and learn to apply with others, combining both theory and practice. You will both be regressed & regress someone 3 times over the 3 day training.
• Learn the psychological benefits of hypnosis such as releasing past-life traumas and how to enable this process.
• You will graduate from this certification training with: (1) the experience and confidence to apply these techniques and (2) how to use them safely and ethically.

This course will focus on both the spiritual and physical healing aspects of regression therapy.

Your Instructor:

Peter Woodbury, MSW, is one of the most prolific regressionists in the world today conducting 300 to 400 regressions a year.  He has his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University & his Master’s degree from Boston University.  He has been on the faculty of both Boston University and Atlantic University.  He taught the regression hypnosis degree program for Atlantic University.

He travels the world on behalf the Edgar Cayce Association for Research and Enlightenment, teaching about the work of this unique teacher and mystic. He has been with the ARE since 2002.

He was trained in hypnosis and regression by Dr. Brian Weiss, Dr. Allen Chips, and Dan Brown, PhD.  Peter’s technique, called “Soul Contact”, takes the client from the everyday waking state of the ego and into the infinite consciousness of the Soul.  It is in this space that “all things can come into remembrance”.   He will draw from Edgar Cayce’s teachings, focusing on the spiritual aspects of this work and for the highest good of all involved.  This work is intense, transformative, transcendent, powerful and deeply deeply healing. Program Prerequisite:
  –  It is recommended (but not mandatory) that students have experienced at least one past-life regression hypnosis session before the class.

In this training, we will assist you to take what you already know and what you already do and adapt that skill set into a life coaching model! Your “Super Powers” are in all the life challenges and obstacles that you have overcome. Your story is the guidebook that will help many. If you are looking to move into a life work of meaning and purpose, this could be just the training for you!

About Peter Woodbury

Peter has been a student of the Cayce work for over 30 years. About 10 years ago, he took his experience as a counselor, a former professor of counseling, and his understanding of the Cayce work, to create the original Edgar Cayce Holistic Life Coaching program for the A.R.E. in Virginia Beach. In his work as a psychotherapist, Peter began to incorporate the mind-body-spirit approach in the Cayce work to great success in helping his clients make significant and lasting changes in their lives. Peter is an accomplished teacher of both life coaching and regression hypnosis, and has had success as both a practitioner and teacher of both of these modalities. Students have enjoyed the ways he makes his experience accessible, understandable, engaging and with a healthy dose of humor!

Peter is also graduate of Harvard University and Boston University School of Social Work, where he was later a professor of counseling. He has also taught regression hypnosis at the ARE’s Atlantic University. He has taught Life Coaching and Regression Hypnosis for almost 20 years.

About the course

Some of the core teachings of Edgar Cayce revolve about these concepts:

• Wellness is not merely the absence of disease.
• We are physical, mental and spiritual beings and our wellness involves the coordination and balance of these 3 aspects of ourselves.
• True wellness involves finding meaning and purpose in our lives.
• We are all psychic and have access to multiple layers of guidance available to us through meditation, dreams and our intuition.
• To function at optimal levels in life we must understand and apply spiritual laws such as “like attracts like”.
• We all have gifts, a reason to be alive at this time, and our work is to water the seed of our authentic seed. An oak will never be a good weeping willow and a sequoia will be a failure as a sycamore!

The Holistic Life Coach integrates mind/body/spirit philosophy.

• Assists the clients to access these inner resources.
• Sessions involve meditation, dream study, analysis of patterns, development of intuition, working through toxic emotions, suggestive therapeutics/hypnosis, working with ideals, and engaging the process of forgiveness and letting go.
• The Life Coach is a facilitator and consistently guides the clients back to themselves and their own resources
• The Life Coach sees themselves as a facilitator rather than the expert.
• The client is an active participant in their sessions, with “homework” to do between sessions. The coach is never the hardest working person in the room!

The course structure:

• The course will take place over Zoom. Students must download the program and have stable internet access.
• Lectures will be available for 30 days after course conclusion.
• The first 2/3 of each day will be a lecture format followed by question and answers.
• There will be an assignment each day.
• Students will receive a manual and other materials.
• The final part of each day will be for practice. Students will be paired up to practice the skill set acquired earlier in the day. There will be a total of 4 such sessions.
• To receive the certification, graduates must complete an exam.
• Again, The course lectures will be available for 30 days after class conclusion. The exam is due within those 30 days. The exam is designed to be a learning tool and will cover the essential topics of the class. It is an “open book” test of sorts.
• Students will receive a signed certificate in the mail once their exam is completed.
